FCCJBL Flash - Games for 5/13 May 11, 2012 Dear Fans,   Hello Baseball Fans!    This week's game schedule is below.  Wishing all of our moms a very happy mothers day.    Sunday, May 13th     Division Teams Time Location Intro T-Ball  Dr. T. Ball 1:30 PM Newfield Center Intro T-Ball Sholom Centerfield  1:30 PM Newfield Center T-Ball Halstead Property at Jodi Boxer Realty Group 1:30 PM Newfield Center Minors MG Miller at Goldman Gruder & Woods 1:30 PM Newfield South Minors Vision Financial at Firefly Pediatrics 1:30 PM Newfield North Majors Stop & Shop at Northwestnern Mutual 3:00 PM Newfield North   Note that both minor league games are at 1:30 pm and the majors game is at 3pm this sunday.     SPORTOGRAPHY FCCJBL PHOTO DAY NEXT SUNDAY MAY 20TH Photo day is next Sunday.  This is a league fundraiser.  We will take team photos and individuals as well if you are purchasing any photo items from Sportography.   Everyone will receive a 4x6 team photo from the league on Championship Sunday.  This is free from the league.    I recommend a number of the photo items especially the baseball cards.  They are a great souveneer item from your child's season and the kids can collect cards of their friends.    THE BEST WAY TO SIGN UP AND PAY FOR PHOTOS IS THROUGH SPORTOGRAPHY'S ONLINE SIGNUP.  OTHERWISE, YOU WILL BE FILLING OUT PAPER FORMS ON PHOTO DAY.    Please follow the instructions below to place your orders through Sportography's Online Photo Registration System. FCCJBL Flash - Games for 5/6 May 4, 2012 Dear Fans,   Hello Baseball Fans!    Last week's opening games looked great and it was a terrific day weather-wise unless like me, you are an allergy sufferer.  Let's hope we can have nearly as nice a day this Sunday, May 6th.     The league website (www.fccjbl.org) has been further updated today with the latest team roster additions and changes.  Also the season schedule has been updated.    Three notable schedule changes: 1) We are extending the game schedule to include Sunday, June 17th.  This will be for our Championship and final games.  Having lost our first Sunday to rain and the additional Sunday loss on May 27th to the Shavuot holiday, we thought it best to move the schedule out and forego the Awards Breakfast.  Player trophies, coaches gifts and graduating player awards will be given out at the pre-game ceremonies before the Championships.  2) We are also moving the BBQ to June 10th. 3) Not previously listed on the schedule, but we will have Sportography Photo Day on May 20th.  This is a fundraiser for the league.  Get your ball player captured on individual photo items - The Commish's favorite are the baseball cards.  A portion of the proceeds are rebated back to the league.   The schedule page now reflects these changes.     NOTE TO COACHES: Please advise if you need any replacement or additional equipment for your equipment bags.  In all equipment bags you have been provided with 2012 sportsmanship pins.  As in past years please give these out to the player or players who have had a great game and/or demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship.  Only the Intro to T-Ball group does not have the pins.  If you find you need additional pins, please let the Commish know.  Also included in the equipment bags are several disposable single-use ice-packs in the event of player injuries.  Let the Commish know if you have used any and need replacements.      This week's game schedule:   Sunday, May 6th   Division Team/Teams Time Location INTRO Dr. T. FCCJBL Flash - Games for 4/29; Team Rosters and Schedules April 25, 2012 Dear Fans,   Hello Baseball Fans!    We are all set for this Sunday's (4/29) games.    The league website (www.fccjbl.org) has been updated with the team rosters and full season schedule.    Please see the team rosters page and make sure your children are listed and make note of what team they are on.  Coaching assignments are also listed on this page. http://www.fccjbl.org/rosters.htm        The full season schedule has also been posted including this Sunday's games. http://www.fccjbl.org/schedule.htm Noah Marlowe will be coordinating with the umpires for coverage for majors and minors games throughout the season.
