Hello Baseball Fans!!!!
Hope everyone had a great Shavuot!
Wanted to remind everyone that the FCCJBL is off this Sunday as many of our kids will be marching in the Salute to Israel Day Parade.
We will be back the following Sunday, May 30th along with our annual BBQ catered by SuperSol of Scarsdale.
For those of you who volunteered on registration forms to help with the BBQ, we will need your bridge tables for setup by 12:30 pm that day. Also, we are always in need of help with serving and cleanup. Please contact the Commish by email to let him know what you can do.

Tickets for FCCJBL Annual Night at the Bridgeport Bluefish Now Available... Brideport Bluefish  | Our annual trip to the minor league Bridgeport Bluefish will be on Tuesday evening, June 1st at Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport. Game time is 7:05 pm.
Tickets are free to all players, coaches, umpires and sponsors and their families.
Please email the Commish and let him know how many tickets you want.

League Defibrillator to be Purchased... Defibrillator  | Last year, we started a campaign to raise funds to purchase a Defibrillator for the FCCJBL. We are almost at our goal and are about to place the order through the American Red Cross.
This vital life saving equipment will be at all games once purchased in the G-d forbid situation that a players, coach, umpire or parent has a situation warranting its use.
Anyone wishing to further contribute to our fund for the Defibrillator should contact the Commish by email. No donation is too small.

Upcoming Events Sunday, May 30th - FCCJBL Annual BBQ Tuesday, June 1st - FCCJBL Annual Trip to the Bridgeport Bluefish Sunday, June 13th - FCCJBL Championship Sunday and Pre-Game Ceremonies
Former Stamford Mayor and Connecticut Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Dan Malloy will be on hand to throw out the first pitch and Jonathan Cahr of the What's Up Band and his choir will be on hand to lead us in the Hatikvah and the National Anthem.

Thanks to everyone who supported this year's Modell's Team Weeks program Modell's Team Weeks | The program ended on May 13th.
We look forward to a hearty rebate from Modell's from this year's program.

Snack Bar News
"The Dugout" Snack Bar will be closed on Sunday, June 6th. We are looking for a family to sponsor the snack bar that Sunday and man the booth. For that day, we would limit the snack bar to water and soft drinks. Please let the Commish know if you can take on this task as the Mendes family is not available that Sunday.
