AWARDS BREAKFAST
Because of a threat of rain, we have moved our Awards Breakfast indoors. It will still be this Sunday at 9:30 am. But now it will be at CONGREGATION AGUDATH SHOLOM located at 301 Strawberry Hill Ave in Stamford. It is about a 5 minute ride from the fields at Newfield School.
A big shout out goes to Michelle Fanwick who has coordinated this year's breakfast. And a thank you to everyone who has volunteered to shop, setup and cleanup.
The breakfast will start at 9:30 am and end at 11 am.
We will give out the trophies and team photos at the Awards Breakfast.
If you ordered Lifetouch/Sportography individual photos, please be sure to pick them up.
We will then all drive over to Newfield School for our pre-game ceremonies and final games for Intro and T-Ball and Championship and Consolation games for the Minors.
Pre-Game ceremonies will start at 11:30 am on the North Diamond.
Games will start at 12 noon for Intro and T-Ball.
MINORS ACTION - SUSPENDED PLAYOFF GAME CONTINUES
Before we start the Championship and Consolation games for the Minors, we will first complete last week's suspened playoff game between #2 and #3 seeds - Goldman Gruder & Woods and Vision Financial. This game was suspended with a 6-6 tie. We will start the top of the 4th inning as extra innings. If after 2 innings, we remain tied, a coin toss will decide which team plays in the Championship immediately following.
At the end of the suspended playoff game, we will resume and play the Minors Championship (on North field) and Minors Consolation game (on South field).
