Hello Baseball Fans!!!!
Let's all hope that the rain last Sunday is the last Sunday rain we see this season. This Sunday should be back to baseball. I expect we will have our uniform shirts for all the teams.
Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes to a half hour before game time so games can start on time.

Info for Coaches  Please arrive early on Sunday. See the Commish to pick up your team equipment bag - each team gets one. Its yours to keep for the season. Inside you'll have all your equipment needs. If there's anything you don't have, or find anything that is not usable, let the Commish know asap. Major and Minor league coaches - please email your final scores to the Commish by Sunday evening. We do post scores and keep division standings. I will be sending out a separate email to all coaches with the master list of coaches with their emails and home phone number. Please coordinate with other when you are not available for a given game. Also, all coaches MUST read and review league rules and the coaches code of conduct. Newfield School Fields  We play all our games at Newfield Elementary School in Stamford. The school is located at 345 Pepper Ridge Road. The fields are located behind the school. Parking is on the north part of the school. The "North Field" is designated for our Majors division. The "South Field" is designated for our Minors division. The "Center" area is a huge grass area directly behind the school. The T-Ball program plays on the south side of the Center field. Umpires  We have a great of set of umpires for this years Major and Minor league games. The staff includes: Nat Samberg, Jason Wohlberg, Lev Podelko, Noah Marlowe, Jackie Liesman and Emillie Pollack.

Uniforms Our team shirts should be in and ready for everyone this Sunday. Baseball pants are on order and may or may not arrive in time for this Sunday. |
Snack Bar
 For the last several years, the FCCJBL has had a Snack Bar run by 1 or 2 families as a bnei mitzvah "mitzvah project" with all proceeds from the sales going to the family's charity of choice. This year, Zach Mendes-Barry along with his mom Rica, grandparents Richard and Ruth Mendes, sister Ariella and Snack Bar assistants Rina Marlowe and Rebecca Morgenthaler will be manning the Snack Bar. Zach is working on multiple mitzvah projects to raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. THE SNACK BAR WILL BE OPEN THIS SUNDAY! |
